\nAcademic Advising & Registration Workshops<\/h2>\nThese seminars are held each semester. They help 1st year (New Freshmen or Transfer) students learn how to prepare for their advising appointments. We give a general review of how to search for classes in MyLaVerne, a review of general education requirements and a question & answer period.<\/span><\/p>\n Open to Freshmen (29 earned units or less) & new Transfers.<\/p>\n<\/td>\n | \nCareer Readiness<\/h2>\n | ||||||
\u00a0<\/strong><\/td>\n| <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n | \n | “On the Spot” Registration Help<\/h2>\nThis is not your advising session.\u00a0 This is for troubleshooting problems with registration, general advising questions, checking and clearing holds, etc.<\/p>\n WHAT:<\/strong> Take the worry away and register with help! WHEN:<\/strong>\u00a0 Varies every semester.<\/span><\/p>\n WHY:<\/strong>\u00a0 Freshman registration can be stressful, even frustrating.\u00a0 Advisors will be available to help you virtually!<\/span><\/p>\n WHO:\u00a0<\/strong> Freshmen who are part of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) and the LaFetra College of Education (LFCE).<\/span><\/p>\n WHERE:<\/strong>\u00a0 Academic and Career Services (Abraham Campus Center, second floor) and drop-in, virtual offices.\u00a0<\/span><\/td>\n This workshop will offer guidance for undergraduate students on how to navigate graduation requirements and the graduation process. Students will learn how to apply for graduation and understand general application timelines.
