鶹Ƶ;Verne Appoints Dr. Marquisha Frost as Associate Vice President for Inclusive Excellence and Mission Integration
La Verne, CA—The 鶹Ƶ;Verne is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr.
Marquisha Frost as the new Associate Vice President for Inclusive Excellence and Mission
Integration, effective August 4, 2025.
Dr. Frost brings more than a decade of leadership experience in higher education, nonprofit
strategy, andinclusive excellence.She most recently served as Senior Vice President of Strategic
Engagement and Initiatives and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at the Nebraska Children
and Families Foundation, where she led statewide initiatives to promote equity, well–being, and
systemic change.
A former adjunct professor at the 鶹Ƶ;Verne and Youth Coordinator at the La Verne
Church of the Brethren, Dr. Frost is deeply familiar with the university’s mission andthe
surroundingcommunity. Her return marks a homecoming toa campus she describes as having
“La Verne Magic.”
In her new role, Dr. Frost will report to theprovostand work closely withleadership across
campusonstrategic efforts that advance the university’s core values—Ethical Reasoning,
Diversity and Inclusivity, Lifelong Learning, and Civic and Community Engagement. She will
oversee several key offices, including Title IX, Civic and Community Engagement, Multicultural
Services, Religious and Spiritual Life,andthe Randall Lewis Center for Well–Being andResearch.
Dr. Frost holds a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from Claremont Graduate University,
along withmaster’s degrees in counseling and education. Her research and professional work
have focused on student success, inclusive leadership, andinstitutional transformation.
