Military Connected Student Feedback Form\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Student feedback is critical for maintaining a nurturing environment for Military Connected students (i.e. Active Duty, Veterans, as well as Spouses, Dependents, and Survivors of Active Duty and Veterans) to learn and thrive.\u00a0 \u00a0If you have feedback, we want to hear about it!<\/p>\n

Academic Advising and Military Academic Advising
\n<\/span><\/h2>\n

All students are assigned an Academic Advisor and should meet with their advisor prior to each enrollment period to insure they are on track with the degree and classes. If unsure who your advisor is, you can locate your academic advisor through your La Verne DegreeTracker under QuickLinks in your La Verne Portal.\u00a0 Please view this instruction video link on how to:\u00a0 Find your Academic Advisor name\/email on MyDegree Tracker<\/a>. Once in MyDegree Tracker you can right click on the advisor’s name and select Copy Email<\/em> to paste for use.<\/p>\n

Military Advising assists VA and Active Duty Tuition Assistance (TA) students with academic advising related support.\u00a0 Select advisors provide essential support to the School Certifying Officials (SCOs) with course certifications for VA benefits.\u00a0 Please send only VA or TA related questions, attached forms that may need review and\/or approval, as well as requests for assistance to the Advising Military email: advisingmilitary@laverne.edu<\/a>.\u00a0 For more information go to Military Advising | Â鶹ÊÓƵ;Verne<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Academic Success Center (ASC)\u00a0<\/span><\/h2>\n

Accessibility Services<\/span><\/h2>\n

Accessibility Services<\/strong><\/a> supports students with documented medical, physical, psychological, attention-deficit and\/or learning disabilities to help maximize their potential for success in all aspects of campus life. Services include academic accommodations, self-advocacy, skill training, and disability-related educational programming for the university community.<\/p>\n

Career Services<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Career Center<\/strong><\/a> at the Â鶹ÊÓƵ;Verne empowers students and alumni to develop a lifelong competitive and applicable skill set for an ever-changing global market through Career Readiness, a robust set of digital resources, tools, career assessments, and programming.\u00a0 All students and alumni interested in participating in Career Center online programs and career counseling please utilize Handshake<\/strong><\/a> for all scheduling needs or contact us directly at 909-448-4052 or via email<\/span> careercenter@laverne.edu.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS)<\/span><\/h2>\n

Students at the University of La\u00a0Verne can seek counseling and psychological services<\/strong><\/a> to assist with anxiety and stress management, adjustment issues, mental health treatment, eating disorder or substance abuse, or any other mental or emotional health issue that may be concerning you. Students can make an appointment or call or visit for crisis support. Services are free to all students (undergraduate, graduate, adult, regional on-line campuses).<\/p>\n

Additionally, the Â鶹ÊÓƵ;Verne is now partnered with TimelyCare<\/strong><\/a> to deliver a new virtual counseling and well-being platform for students. Through either a mobile app or desktop, TimelyCare provides 24\/7 access to virtual care from anywhere in the United States. TimelyCare is a complement, and does not replace, the already available support services.\u00a0 It is meant to give students, especially those that are not able to come to the La Verne campus during regular business hours, more access to help and resources.<\/p>\n

Financial Aid<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Office of Financial Aid<\/a> supports all students to help insure an affordable Â鶹ÊÓƵ;Verne education .<\/p>\n

Graduate Academic Services<\/span><\/h2>\n

Student Accounts<\/span><\/h2>\n

The Office of Student Accounts<\/a> is responsible for billing and collecting tuition and fees, posting payments and disbursements, processing refunds and providing general assistance to students regarding their account with the University.<\/p>\n

Student Outreach and Support (SOS)<\/span><\/h2>\n
